The story of Shammah. 2 Samuel 23:11-12.

When the philistines attacked a field, the rest of the army fled. 

Shammah didn't. 

He walked to the middle of that field, planted his feet, and fought alone. Not because the field was worth it. Because the ground you stand on is always worth it. You don't give up what's yours. You don't move because it gets hard. You don't flinch because you're outnumbered.

He held that field until there was no one left to fight.
